Job Description: Project Delivery Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Market Research Project Delivery Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of market research projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

The Project Delivery Manager will serve as the central point of coordination between clients, research teams, fieldwork partners, data processing teams, analysts, and other stakeholders. The role requires strong project management capabilities combined with a solid understanding of market research methodologies, research operations, data quality, and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Delivery
Manage end-to-end delivery of quantitative and qualitative market research projects from project initiation through final deliverables.
Translate client requirements and research objectives into detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, and resource requirements.
Develop and maintain project schedules, trackers, budgets, and risk/issue logs.
Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously while managing competing priorities and deadlines.
Ensure projects are delivered within agreed scope, timelines, budget, and quality standards.
Identify potential delivery risks and proactively develop mitigation and contingency plans.

Client & Stakeholder Management:

Act as the primary operational contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and ensure clear communication of project status, risks, and dependencies.
Manage project kick-off meetings, status updates, and delivery discussions.
Understand client expectations and proactively address issues or changes in requirements.
Escalate critical project risks and issues appropriately and recommend practical solutions.

Market Research Operations:

Coordinate research activities including questionnaire development, survey programming, sampling, fieldwork, recruitment, data collection, data processing, analysis, and reporting.
Work with research teams to ensure questionnaires and research instruments are aligned with project objectives.
Coordinate with panel providers, fieldwork agencies, recruiters, and other third-party vendors.
Monitor fieldwork progress, sample performance, response rates, quotas, and data quality.
Ensure appropriate quality-control checks are conducted throughout the research process.
Support both quantitative and qualitative research projects, including surveys, focus groups, interviews, online communities, and other research approaches.

Quality & Data Management:

Establish and monitor quality-control processes across project stages.
Review project outputs for completeness, consistency, and compliance with client requirements.
Work closely with data processing and analytics teams to resolve data issues.
Monitor research sample quality and identify potential data integrity concerns.
Ensure project documentation, specifications, and deliverables are maintained accurately.
Financial & Resource Management
Track project budgets, costs, purchase orders, and vendor expenses.
Manage project resources and ensure appropriate allocation of internal and external teams.
Identify opportunities to improve project efficiency and profitability.
Support forecasting, invoicing, and financial reporting activities where required.

Team Leadership:

Coordinate cross-functional teams consisting of researchers, project coordinators, programmers, analysts, data processors, and external suppliers.
Assign responsibilities, monitor performance, and ensure accountability for project deliverables.
Provide guidance and support to junior project managers and research operations staff.
Foster a collaborative, delivery-focused environment.

Process Improvement:

Identify opportunities to improve research project delivery processes, tools, workflows, and documentation.
Develop and implement standardized project management practices and best practices.
Contribute to automation and technology-enabled improvements in research operations.
Conduct post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and improvement opportunities.

Required Qualifications & Experience

2+ years experience in the Market Research industry.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Must be detail oriented, flexible and resourceful & able to get the work done

Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Handle virtual team

Strong Project Management skill, Quantitative / Qualitative Research Techniques
Ability to manage & prioritize projects simultaneously

Highly motivated, self-directed & possess a driven personality capable of working with deadlines

Expert with MS Excel, MS Office.
Data savvy with attention to detail and accuracy
